The system includes hospitals, philanthropic foundations, senior residential facilities, physician clinics, women's health center, long-term-care facilities, rehabilitation and community outreach programs, and surgical and diagnostic outpatient offices.

 

Need

 

There was a need for upgrading the existing health portal to incorporate more personalized functionalities to the member like access to health tools, billing, and setting preferences.

 

Solution

 

INDUSA provided its services for upgrading the health portal wherein once users log into the portal, they are given options to register for online billing and health tools. The user can also update his/her personal account profile.

 

Users registered for billing are given access to the online billing manager through which they can view and pay their hospital bills. We developed a billing information import module where the data is read from a CSV/XLS file and fed into a DB2 database.

 

Users registered for health tool are given access to a wellness site where registered users can get health information tailored to their personal preferences. Users now get more personalized information, which they can use readily. The payment process is now streamlined and faster with all validations in place.
