The client focuses on serving the environmental engineering community and has been providing analytical services to private industry, government agencies, and consultants since 1986.

Need

The client wanted to develop specific modules leading to a new LIMS application with flexible architecture and efficient design.

Solution

INDUSA developed the required LIMS application for managing complex workflow and specific data requirements for our client. Some of the major features included easy set-up of lab specific analyses and methods, setting up a default method detection levels (MDL & PQL), setting client specific reporting limits in Project QAPP and Work QAPP, and complete tracking of samples throughout the sample life cycle.

We worked on various modules including Client management, Project, QAPP & Test management, Quote management, Sample control, User management, Instrument management, Invoicing and Receivables management, Analytical process and Material management.

The application was designed such that there is fast response time that would be achieved through out the application. The application has sample login and scheduling for analysis for each department. It generates sample delivery group, sample barcodes as well as detailed sample status reports. The application has the capability for quick creation of batches for preparation, cleanup, analysis and calibration; automated generation of run list and export to XML functionality; and print out scalable QC charts by method over date. It also has data loader built specifically to upload various instrument generated files.

We developed the application in a manner that it has full and easily accessible client profile maintained, create quotations and can convert them to projects, and can also generate invoicing and billing reports. The client web access login and sample level - most updated tracking information is also displayed to the client. The application includes easy tracking of materials and reports as well as complete management of instruments, its calibration and maintenance.
