Participant: Does the AX 2012 Business Ready solution include AX for Process Industry and Process Distribution, which required additional licenses per concurrent user, in AX 2009?

INDUSA: AX 2012 has done architectural changes. AX for Process Industry is available as Model which needs to be imported using the AX 2012 setup. No separate licenses are now required.

Participant: My unit has both discrete as well as process manufacturing activities. How is AX 2012 beneficial to me compared to AX 2009?

INDUSA: You can run hybrid manufacturing model using AX 2012 within the same instance and this is due to the significant architectural changes done in AX 2012

Participant: My raw materials are of natural origin – agricultural - and there is significant variation from lot to lot; how does AX 2012 help me address this situation?

INDUSA: AX 2012 has enhanced the features for Catch weight at all levels, Better Cost Allocation model, Better Commodity Pricing, Changed Product Attributes & Batch Attributes, and Potency or concentration based scheduling as well as pricing.
