Participant: Aren’t there security issues with accessing an ERP through the smart phone?
Manoj Nair: Access to ERP is done through Business Connector & AIF. Two level authentication happens in this case 1) Authentication of smart phone user on Web server where BC/AIF exists and 2) Authentication of BC/AIF transaction on AX
Participant: How will the smart phone access our highly customized AX?
Manoj Nair: Interaction between smartphone & AX is through classes, methods or web services. Same would exists for the customization. For new functionality we can generate web services through the Basic & Administration module of AX
Participant: Isn’t the smartphone screen too small to work with ERPs?
Manoj Nair: Minimal information is generally displayed or required on smartphone screen Or we can see that information displayed on smartphone screen would be considering the size of the smartphone screen
