Need

The client wanted to have an in-built data archiving capabilities to keep control of data growth in the production database.

Solution

INDUSA implemented its scalable, high-performance ArchivePlus to intelligently relocate inactive data- including reference and transactional data. The application maintains data integrity and provides seamless access to the information at any time in the future.

The database archive and purge solution has been designed flexibly to undertake these activities on a variety of data sources in the enterprise database. It allows the operating staff to apply several business rules and selection criteria to select records and to undertake the operations in a controlled manner. These could then be exported / imported to XML.

INDUSA implemented ArchivePlus to keep control of data growth in the client’s production database against a backdrop of business growth. ArchivePlus uses pre-built accelerators for the SQL environment to ensure fast, easy deployment; while data integrity and data access are maintained after the data is archived.
