Client
The organization is a not-for-profit health system on the East coast serving nearly 4 million people in more than 32 counties with gross revenue of over $1 billion. The system includes hospitals, philanthropic foundations, senior residential facilities, physician clinics, women's health center, long-term-care facilities, rehabilitation and community outreach programs, and surgical and diagnostic outpatient offices.
Need
The client required a better look and feel of its MOSS 2007 user interface which could help their future migration plans from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010.
Solution
INDUSA proposed a better theme, color and layout for the intranet site. The sub-sites could inherit the UI properties. There were two themes and layouts prepared for MOSS 2007 and SharePoint individually which were similar in look and feel.
INDUSA also facilitated the provision to add any number of web parts to the intranet home page including the left panel and the main content section.
Client Benefits:
The revamped look and feel of the intranet sites facilitates seamless navigation. The similar themes of both MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2010 will facilitate users to get used to with the design and minimizes adaptability issues after migration.
