INDUSA – THE FIRST SOFTWARE COMPANY IN GUJARAT TO ACHIEVE CERTIFICATION UNDER ISO 27001:2005 FOR INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT

Indusa, a software services provider, based at Ahmedabad, India and headquartered in the US, announced today that it has been certified under ISO 27001:2005 – the Information Security Management Standard (erstwhile BS 7799). This is the first software company in Gujarat to have achieved this certification.

The certificate has been issued by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), a UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited certification body. The Information Security Management System was designed and implemented by Indusa over the last 6 months. The system enables the company to provide the highest level of safeguards to protect customer data and provide business continuity and disaster recovery, besides assessing and controlling risks to network and physical security. The ISO 27001 Standard provides a framework to design, implement, manage, maintain and enforce information security processes and controls systematically and consistently throughout the organization.
